The Citrus County Coalition for College & Careers is a nonprofit organization that works with community partners to support and provide resources that advance students’ educational goals. Volunteers meet with students to help with post-secondary plans, including entry to Colleges & Universities, Career & Technical Schools, Military, and straight into careers.
Information: We offer information on the college application process, college selection, technical school options, careers and related processes.
Collaboration: We coordinate volunteers and services and collaborate with partners to help students as they determine pathways after high school.
Mentoring: We provide mentoring, tutoring and counseling (to include college and technical school exploration, preparation & application, career guidance, and job skills support).
Scholarship: We help with financial aid process and offer financial assistance and legal support.
Support: We provide support and resources, especially for our most at-risk students.

With the help of community donors, in May of 2024, the Citrus County Coalition of College and Careers awarded $78,389 in the form of scholarships to 65 graduating seniors planning to attend colleges, universities, and technical schools in Florida and throughout the US. As of 2024, over $290,000 in scholarships have been awarded to over 350 students.
If you would like to contribute, 100% of the money donated is awarded to students to assist with the college application process, college costs, and other post-secondary college and careerrelated fees.
